Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
The role of an Airport Operations Supervisor is to oversee the smooth operation of airport services, ensuring that all aspects of terminal management are carried out efficiently.
The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring real-time ground situations at key touchpoints in terminals via CCTV and TMC systems, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Additionally, they will process Porter Service requests and ensure that the respective Operations Supervisor fulfills these services.
The supervisor will also coordinate and support overall operations, including trolley and taxi coordination.
They will act as a liaison between the Duty Manager and Terminal Manager/Duty Terminal Manager/TMC Operations Cells during extraordinary operations matters.
The supervisor will assist the Terminal Manager/Duty Manager with incident/accident investigation by extracting CCTV footages.
In addition, they will provide ad hoc administrative support to the Duty Ops Manager when required.
The supervisor will alert the respective duty Supervisor on key events of the day.
Furthermore, they will perform any other duties assigned by management.
Trolley Operations:
The supervisor will monitor the supply and demand of trolleys using associated systems.
They will perform routine checks as stipulated in standard operating procedures.
Also, they will activate the Operations Supervisor for replenishment of trolleys and/or clearing of unused trolleys when required.
The supervisor will provide regular updates to the Centralized Asset Group (CAG) using relevant platforms on real-time trolley levels at designated locations.
Moreover, they will receive direct information and report any incidents related to trolley operations to the Operations Supervisor for prompt response and assistance.
Taxi Operations:
The supervisor will monitor the supply and demand of taxis using associated systems.
They will activate taxi supply when necessary, including phone calls to taxi operators and urgent calls.
Additionally, they will ensure that all terminal workstations and TMS area functioning, including verifying and updating the accuracy of information in the taxi systems.
The supervisor will observe and report the status of passenger queues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to accommodate passengers in queue.
Furthermore, they will plan for taxi supplies and take appropriate action in the administration of taxi coordination.
Periodic Duties:
The supervisor will generate service utilization reports.
They will cover Operations Supervisor's duties as assigned.
Also, they will cover Duty Manager's duties in their absence for coordination.
The supervisor will undertake ad hoc quality/operations improvement projects/tasks as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications/Experiences:
The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Science/Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent.
They should have minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in quality/operations functions.
A strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillset is essential.
The candidate should be confident in managing and influencing stakeholders in TMC.
Adaptability to change and a good team player mentality is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
Able to work on shift duty and obtain an Airport Pass (Airside).
Shift hours: 12 hours, Work 4 days off 3 days.
