Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Strategist - Application Development Lead to join our team at PeopleSearch Pte Ltd.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, policies, and governance framework for our Applications team.

You will lead cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business users.

This role demands strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Governance: Develop and maintain the overall architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, policies, and governance framework to guide the Applications team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that IT strategies align with business objectives and policies.
  • Compliance & Oversight: Oversee the development and management of architecture requirements, ensuring compliance with IT policies, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on application performance, governance, and compliance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize processes and improve the overall efficiency and scalability of applications.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure all team members adhere to established IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate planning and budgeting efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in completing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects.
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background with experience in Microsoft technologies, including .NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL, SAP, and PeopleSoft.
  • Cloud Services Knowledge: Good understanding of cloud services and infrastructure, with knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and security considerations.
  • Coding Standards: Experience in setting coding standards and improving team processes.
  • Avg Methodologies: Advantageous to have experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies or familiarity with ISO27001 standards.
Compensation:

Our estimated salary for this role is SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
