A software engineer is responsible for creating complex digital systems from scratch. The key tasks include:

  • Designing and implementing mixed-signal subsystems for chip-level integration
  • Conducting micro-architectural studies to determine optimal hardware implementations of IP digital blocks
  • Maintaining all required documentation according to quality standards
  • Designing RTL logic using Verilog HDL, including power and clock management units, IP subsystems, high-speed designs, digital interfaces to analog functions, accelerators, filters, etc.
  • Organizing and leading design and verification reviews with technical staff throughout the project lifecycle
  • Performing logic synthesis, timing, and power analysis to optimize designs
  • Verifying designs before manufacturing using various methodologies such as constrained random verification with block/subsystem/chip level UVM test benches, spice co-simulation of mixed signal blocks, and FPGA emulation.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have an engineering degree in a relevant field and related experience in RTL design, VLSI Design, RTL programming, Synthesis, power analysis. Additionally, they should possess skills in:
