Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Engineering Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical specifications for transmission network equipment and power cable systems.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met and incorporated into the project plans. This includes liaising with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to conduct system design reviews and witness Type Tests/Factory Acceptance Tests/Factory Audits.

In addition, you will identify opportunities to implement new technology, design, operation, and maintenance philosophies to enhance capital asset management. You will also be involved in conducting investigations of faulty equipment/parts and liaising with government agencies for wayleave clearance.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and professionalism. If you have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience working in the power and energy industry, we encourage you to apply.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognized degree in Electrical Engineering from a university recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore (preferably specializing in power engineering)
  • At least 3-10 years of working experience in the power and energy industry
  • A team player with a positive working attitude and ability to handle tight deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skills
