Job Description:
A highly motivated and skilled Chemistry Teacher is required to join our academic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning, with a passion for inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles. They will be able to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school's academic programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons to students, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Planning and preparing lessons, schemes of work and assessments
  • Assessing student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents
  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans, in line with school policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the development of the school's academic programs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in IGCSE & A Level Chemistry
  • Commitment to working in an educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitivity toward cultural diversities
  • Ability to build community through positive interactions with parents
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates use of initiative while showing flexibility and adaptability
  • A reflective practitioner with a commitment to lifelong learning and solution focused mindset
