Job Title: Culinary Team Member
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Culinary Team Member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Support the Executive Chef in preparing daily mise-en-place and meal preparation.
- Consistently deliver professional and friendly guest service while collaborating with colleagues.
- Maintain a positive attitude and take pride in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily meals and food items accurately as directed and according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Contribute to effective kitchen operations and assist other team members with job duties as needed.
- Monitor production of food items to ensure compliance with prescribed recipes and specifications.
- Adhere to all standards for food hygiene, presentation, production, and portioning.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain standard cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum culinary certificate or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to resolve issues in a fair and positive manner.
