Senior Biostatistician Role

Cytel Software Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and analyzing data from clinical and real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement statistical methodologies for data analysis and interpretation
  • Contribute to the development of study reports, presentation of results to clients, and other project deliverables
  • Provide statistical expertise for scientific publications, medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and medical purposes
  • Maintain proficiency in current or novel statistical methodologies and develop interactive dashboards using RShiny or dashboard analytics applications
  • Perform peer-review of project tasks from other project team colleagues and mentor junior statisticians
  • Manage client accounts and deliver projects within timelines and budget

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or similar disciplines with extensive courses in statistical analysis
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on clinical (Phase I-IV) and/or RWE projects in the life sciences or related industries
  • Sound knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts relevant for analyzing clinical and/or real-world data
  • Proficient in SAS and R programming, knowledge of Python is a plus
  • Proficient in SQL and MS Office applications
  • Experience with dashboard analytics applications such as Power BI is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to articulate concepts clearly across teams and with clients
