Marine Engineering Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, with experience in managing and maintaining complex equipment and systems.

  • A degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, problem-solving abilities and project management expertise.
  • They will also possess good interpersonal and communication skills, including written and presentation skills.

About the Role:

This role involves coordinating and executing maintenance and repair work on marine crafts, as well as updating Fleet Engineering Management teams on daily manpower deployment. You will work closely with the Fleet Operations team to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities:

  1. Organise and lead a team of engineers to carry out maintenance and repair work on marine crafts.
  2. Coordinate with Fleet Operations team for repair and maintenance of marine crafts and provide feedback on readiness for operations.
  3. Review inventory and non-stock items and propose recommendations for stock spares.
  4. Plan and monitor the maintenance schedule of all equipment onboard marine crafts and in the workshop.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in marine engineering, preferably 1-2 years.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
