Job Title: Senior Civil Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of civil and structural works, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all aspects of the construction project, including temporary works and safety measures;
  • Ensuring that the Contractor's working procedures comply with agreed method statements and relevant workplace safety and health regulations;
  • Oversight of tunneling works;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management;

You will work closely with the Site Resident Engineer (SRE) to manage and control a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officers. You will also assist in administrative control on the site staff, including instilling and maintaining discipline, punctuality, and keeping daily records of staff attendance.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in civil engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in this field;
  • Experience in tunneling works, having worked on at least 2 different projects;
  • A degree in Civil Engineering is essential, and accreditation as a Resident Engineer (RE) with a valid IES certificate is preferred;
  • Additional accreditation as a Resident Engineer (Tunnel) with a valid IES certificate would be advantageous;
