Job Title: Assembly Machinist

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and adjusting assembly line machinery and equipment to prepare for production runs.
  • Perform machine adjustments and calibrations to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Monitor machine performance and output for any abnormalities and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic issues, diagnose root causes and perform corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, repairs and adjustments to address malfunctions and prevent future issues.

Required Skills:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of production software.
