Technical Director for AI Infrastructure

This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as the technical lead and architect for an artificial intelligence development ecosystem. We are seeking an experienced leader who can develop the architectural design and long-term technical roadmap for the AI computing platform, define standards and best practices for building and operating robust AI infrastructure, including large language model tooling and custom agentic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the technical strategy and architecture for the AI infrastructure, defining standards and best practices for building and operating robust AI systems.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and recommend new technologies and tools to keep our platform at the cutting edge of AI innovation.
  • Mentor other engineers on the team, guiding them on complex technical challenges and promoting a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Drive the technical execution of large-scale platform projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, security, and solution architects.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or data platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud-native technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the AI/ML development lifecycle and the infrastructure required to support it at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and influence technical direction.
