Senior Manager, AI Office
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public research funding, and innovation-driven R&D.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact.
You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic R&D programmes, managing public grant portfolios, and driving cross-sector collaborations that advance AI technologies and their applications across industries.
Key Responsibilities- Grant Programme Management: Oversee the lifecycle of public research grants—from proposal evaluation to project monitoring and reporting.
- AI Strategy & R&D Oversight: Identify emerging AI trends and opportunities for strategic investment.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with academia, government agencies, and industry players.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
5-7+ years of experience in managing public research grants, preferably in a government or research agency setting.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, applications, and R&D processes.
Proven track record in programme or project management within the research or innovation ecosystem.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
