Facilities Management Leader

Job Description:

The Facilities Management Leader is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of civil and structural facilities. This involves planning and allocating resources for maintenance works, monitoring progress with appointed contractors, and commanding control of the FM team and contractors during maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning maintenance regimes and ad hoc maintenance for civil and structural facilities.
  • Reviewing infrastructure components, their condition, impact on operations, and maintenance needs.
  • Analyzing past maintenance records and proposing new approaches or technologies for infrastructure repair and maintenance.
  • Monitoring and auditing contractors' work based on the Operational Maintenance Manual of all critical civil and structural facilities.
  • Executing projects, including preparing board papers, presentation decks, purchase requests, justifications, confirming receipt of goods in procurement systems, writing specifications, evaluating vendors' technical competency for projects over $5 million.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or Facilities Management, with certification as Senior Fire Safety Manager/Fire Safety Manager preferred.

Additionally, you will require 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, managing projects valued at $10 million or more. Experience with Greenmark applications and sustainability project management is advantageous.

As a self-driven and service-oriented individual, you must be capable of working under pressure and leading green practices and promoting sustainability.
