About the Role

National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) is seeking a skilled professional to enhance and implement effective cancer imaging and treatment techniques in nuclear medicine/positron emission tomography (PET).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiation safety, medical physics, and quality control to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.

  • As a Radiation Safety Officer, supervise staff compliance with radio-isotope radiation protection policies, ensuring the highest level of safety for patients and staff.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control program to optimize scanner performance.

The selected candidate will work closely with technical staff, peers, and vendors to address technical quality and scanner performance issues. Additionally, they will provide dosimetry for patients treated with radio-isotopes and perform quarterly documentation audits of the nuclear medicine program.

Job Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or Master degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Candidates without prior experience may be given a 2-year training program, while those with relevant experience may be granted a waiver or a shorter training program.
