Workshop Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Assistant to join our team at SINGAPORE TEST LAB PTE. LTD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with laboratory mechanical testing, maintaining and servicing mechanical testing equipment, and ensuring the workshop is kept clean and organized.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have basic welding skills, a forklift license, and a basic understanding of pipefitting.

Experience in a construction site or shipyard environment is an added advantage.

We welcome young seniors and recently retired individuals who are still fit and able to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with laboratory mechanical testing
  • Maintain and service mechanical testing equipment
  • Keep the workshop clean and organized
  • Perform basic welding tasks
  • Operate a forklift
  • Assist with pipefitting tasks

Requirements:

  • Basic welding skills
  • Forklift license
