Role Overview

The Stockroom Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory in alignment with company standards. This position supports the Stockroom Manager in various operational tasks and collaborates with Sales Assistants to enhance sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard the integrity and quality of products in accordance with company policies;
  • Oversee daily operations related to goods receipt and storage, ensuring timely preparation for sales;
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols for shop-to-shop transfers and returns;
  • Manage E-Commerce order fulfillment, ensuring adherence to service expectations;
  • Handle special stock categories, including damaged items and products under repair;
  • Organize packaging and stationery supplies, ensuring proper inventory management;
  • Guarantee secure packaging for in-store transfers and E-Commerce shipments;
  • Adhere to company procedures regarding theft incidents, including documentation and communication;
  • Conduct prompt investigations for discrepancies in inventory systems;
  • Maintain accurate records of product movements within the inventory management system;
  • Coordinate and execute physical and cycle inventories, ensuring compliance with company timelines;
  • Optimize stock organization with a focus on visibility for best-selling and new products;
  • Support stockroom functions related to sales activities;
  • Ensure the stockroom is secure and well-maintained;
  • Foster relationships with suppliers and maintain communication;
  • Regularly update and organize inventory archives;
  • Familiarize with product offerings to assist Client Advisors and collaborate with Visual Merchandising;
  • Implement updates to KPIs and adhere to guidelines set by management.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess prior experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury retail sector. A strong affinity for luxury products, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
