Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Control Specialist to manage and optimize production schedules. This key role will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, providing regular production status updates to management, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure smooth production operations.

  • Build schedules based on time constraints and resource availability.
  • Create production plans considering available resources.
  • Manage dates on all production orders and communicate status promptly.
  • Articulate issues and resolution timelines at the component level.
  • Manage material parameters (lead time, lot size, MOQ, ABC classification) and understand their impact on inventory and service.
  • Understand demand planning, forecast flow, and variability impacts.
  • Apply bottleneck and line balancing concepts.
  • Address lumpy demand effects on supply chain and production.
  • Understand capacity planning, routings, and order scheduling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with SAP T-codes and Materials Management/Production Scheduling modules.
  • Proficiency in Excel (basic functions, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
