Lead Creative Visionary Role

This senior position is based in Singapore and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the creative team to develop memorable visitor experiences, integrating text, images, and multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reports directly to the Art Director
  • Contributes to conceptual development and illustrates design concepts through various mediums
  • Develops graphic standards and hierarchies per project style and content
  • Attends internal and client meetings to understand available content and materials for exhibition graphic elements
  • Develops designs from conceptual ideation to final design, construction, and implementation
  • Leads a team of designers and works collaboratively with Culture Collective staff, subcontractors, clients, suppliers, and industry contacts
  • Presents confidently to client teams
  • Works within tight schedules in a fast-paced working environment
  • Multi-tasks and leads multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travels to meetings and site visits as required by projects
  • Ensures client missions and design objectives are maintained throughout the project
  • Disseminates work within the graphics team when appropriate and reviews/design deliverables
  • Provides updates and milestone deliverables to the Art Director
  • Coordinates and manages meetings related to graphic and interpretive development

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or a similar field in an agency or in-house setting
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, image manipulation, and illustration
  • Experience in developing creative concepts across traditional media platforms and understanding their functionality
  • Ability to generate original ideas and visual concepts
  • Strong technical drawing skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office, or Google Input tools

Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including conceptualization, design development, and design intent drawings. Good knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials standards for exhibit design, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
