Job Description:
- The successful candidate will be an L2 Engineer for the Unified Communication Services team in Singapore, providing support for all RUN activities within the team.
- He/She is responsible for ensuring the health and stability of technical solutions within their scope, effectively working with technical peers on technology roadmaps and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team during diagnosis when technical issues arise, being aware of the global IT structure to anticipate interrelationships within the organization.
- Managing L2 activities, including direct relationships with end-users, engaging with technical peers, Service managers, Architects, and project teams on technology roadmaps and projects.
- Monitoring and pushing for improvements in the team's productivity.
- Being available and driving complex or high-severity incidents within the scope of their role.
- Engaging in projects and project deliveries.
- Driving and delivering root cause analysis for high-severity issues.
As a member of ISAP/ITS:
- Facilitating collaboration and spreading information from and to the team, participating in departmental activities, including brainstorming, team building, and other team or transversal actions.
- Fostering an innovation mindset.
- Contributing to ISAP/ITS global branding and communication.
- Focusing on automation and optimum use of the team to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing messaging environments, with about 3-5 years in financial institutes.
- Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A Bachelor's/Engineering graduate degree.
- Experience with messaging technologies, such as Exchange 2016/2019, Skype for Business, MS Teams, IRONPORT, and mobile messaging technologies like WorkSpaceOne & Blackberry work.
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 certification (or above).
- In-depth hands-on knowledge/experience with Windows technology, Skype/Lync, and IronPort or email gateway technologies.
Suggested Salary Range: SGD $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
