Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team at MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through thorough testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product and System Verification and Validation
    • Develop and propose test requirements to meet marketing and customer needs
    • Prepare initial estimates of resources and test budgets
    • Lead the establishment of product validation test plans and schedules
    • Ensure the availability of test equipment and tools
    • Manage and perform product validation to ensure conformance to requirements
    • Follow up with designers on reported issues and participate in project discussions
    • Ensure on-time completion of assigned product and system verification and validation
  • Test Reporting
    • Create test reports and present test summaries to project and management teams
    • Write clear and concise reports addressing business and technical needs
  • Continual Improvement of Laboratory Processes
    • Sustain and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 and SAC-SINGLAS requirements
    • Continuously improve work processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Optimize test schedule planning and management to maximize test equipment usage
  • Boasting Laboratory Testing Competency and Expertise
    • Strengthen laboratory competency and capability by commissioning new equipment
    • Improve testing efficiency by building knowledge on competitor products and implementing new testing methods
  • Equipment Calibration and Maintenance
    • SOURCE FOR GOOD VENDORS TO CALIBRATE AND PERFORM PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR LABORATORY EQUIPMENT
    • Track equipment calibration and preventive maintenance due dates
    • Liaise and monitor performance of external vendors for equipment calibration and preventive maintenance
    Requirements
    • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in product verification and validation testing of industrial electromechanical and electronics products
    • Experience in electrical testing (handling equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, chamber, dielectric/impulse tester)
    • ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge or experience
    • Exposure to industrial electromechanical and electronics products testing
    • Knowledge of FMEA, FTA, 6 Sigma concepts & problem-solving methodologies
    • Familiar with international test standards e.g. IEC, UL, CSA, Marine, etc
