APAC Risk and Control Specialist

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our organization by leading control-oriented initiatives across 14 APAC countries. You will work closely with regional GB Client Service teams and Business Control Managers to identify risks and develop strategies for mitigation.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute process mapping, optimization, risk identification, control design reviews, and assessing control testing results.

Assist in executing the CORE Program, including process improvement and control monitoring.

Support issue management protocols, ensuring GB Client Service control issues undergo root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Participate in triage of technology incidents, risk events, loss events, and data breaches, reviewing root causes and proposing sustainable remediation.

Prepare and review relevant risk and control metrics.

Key skills and qualifications required include:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or operational risk.
  • Understanding of risk and control management, CORE frameworks, issue management protocols, risk event management protocols, and risk governance practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
