Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our team at TBWA\(GBD Singapore. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain full sets of accounts with oversight on all journal entries, revenue, and expenses
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities, including review of P&L and Balance Sheet schedules
  • Reconcile statutory to management books and investigate any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the Account servicing team/Operations Director to achieve monthly revenue forecast
  • Manage costs to achieve forecasted Profit before tax margin
  • Analyze actual results against budget/forecast/prior year and investigate significant variances
  • Prepare accurate and timely management and statutory reports
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Assist in quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing
  • Prepare Tax submissions, including Corporate Tax, GST, Withholding taxes, etc.
  • Prepare annual audit report per local statutory requirements
  • Support Client Audit activities
  • Handle Company Secretary matters

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy with ACCA/CPA or other professional accounting qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant finance experience in a Reporting Role
  • Familiarity with tax law in Singapore – GST, WHT, Corporate tax
  • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Hyperion and BCC is an added advantage
