We are seeking a pioneering Cloud Security Strategist to develop, implement and manage cutting-edge cloud security solutions that safeguard our data and infrastructure.

This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud environments while addressing emerging security challenges.

  • Working location: Central
  • Working hour: 9am to 6pm / 10am to 7pm (Flexible arrangement), hybrid work arrangement

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute cloud security strategies and roadmaps, provide leadership and direction to the cloud security team, aligning efforts with organizational objectives.
  2. Promote security best practices and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  3. Design and deploy secure cloud architectures and solutions, evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security.
  4. Develop and manage IAM strategies to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
  5. Implement and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and controls for managing identities, roles, and permissions.
  6. Establish, enforce, and monitor cloud security policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
  8. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  9. Lead incident response efforts for cloud security incidents.
  10. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  11. Partner with DevOps, IT, and development teams to integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  12. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure robust security solutions.
  13. Regularly analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to detect and respond to threats.
  14. Prepare and present security metrics and reports to senior management.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud security, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and minimum 2 years in lead position.
  2. Strong understanding of cloud security & cloud infrastructure architectures, frameworks, and best practices.
  3. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty is a plus point.
  4. Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  5. Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g. AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center).
  6. Proficient in security technologies such as IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
  7. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2).
