The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is a key player in this endeavour, aiming to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. With over 40 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, CEE is rapidly expanding its range of educational and research activities, focusing on strategic research thrusts in space creation, water engineering, and sustainable built environment.
To fuel further development, we invite applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) position in the areas of Coastal Protection Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong interdisciplinary background in coastal science/engineering, environmental fluid mechanics, or hydraulic engineering, with expertise in protecting coastal infrastructures and/or ecosystems using grey/green approaches.
The ideal candidate will have an earned PhD degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely-related discipline, with a strong track record of academic credentials post PhD. They should also demonstrate excellent teaching ability, strong communication skills, and experience in the industry, with qualifications to become a professional engineer in Singapore.
