Job Description:
Maintaining a robust SHE management system is crucial to ensure compliance with SHE legislation, company policies, and requirements. This role requires the development and implementation of effective risk assessment processes to identify and control generic and site-specific risks. Additionally, it involves maintaining a comprehensive SHE risk register to track significant risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust SHE management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and control potential hazards in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of SHE incidents and near misses, and investigate root causes to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve SHE performance.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on SHE procedures and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar SHE role.
- Knowledge of relevant SHE legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
