About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our world-class advanced AI team at TE Connectivity in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge generative AI solutions to drive innovation and efficiency in our products and processes.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art generative AI models and algorithms
  • Optimizing and fine-tuning existing models for specific use cases within TE Connectivity
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize generative AI applications

In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining efficient MLOps pipelines for generative AI models
  • Ensuring smooth integration of generative AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Optimizing model performance and scalability for production environments

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural language processing, computer vision, or multimodal AI, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps tools.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on generative AI technologies
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying generative AI solutions in production environments

You will also require:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • In-depth knowledge of generative AI models (e.g., GPT, DALL-E, GANs, VAEs,Claude)
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
