Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that customer vehicles are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Safe Engineering Practices: Follow safe engineering practices in line with manufacturer or workshop guidelines and protocols.
  • Work Order Completion: Complete a work order for each vehicle and unit service, detailing replaced items, materials used, and relevant instructions and procedures.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or supervisors.
  • Waste Reduction: Assist the team leader in minimizing unnecessary consumption and waste of workshop materials and non-billable repairs.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and take responsibility for personal and workshop tools.
  • Technical Advice: Offer technical advice to technicians on complex repair tasks.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with Team Leaders and other supervisors to ensure that customer needs are fulfilled.
Requirements
  • Education: Min Nitec in Automotive Technology / Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience in automotive electrical repair (must be able to read electrical diagram and have knowledge on usage of multimeter and insulation meter)
  • Driving License: Class 3 Driving License advantageous
