Join a dynamic team as we seek an accomplished Research Scientist to lead our centre of excellence in achieving its vision and mission.

  • Spearhead the strategic direction and leadership of the centre, driving its vision and mission forward.
  • Provide scientific insights and strategic direction for research collaborations with industry partners, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Develop frameworks and processes to meet the center's milestones and goals, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead research programs focused on emerging technologies and talent development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external collaborators to achieve common objectives, promoting a culture of collaboration and cooperation.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to researchers and PhD students, empowering them to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a PhD degree from a world leading university, preferably in a field related to Computer Science/Engineering. A minimum of 20 years' experience in a research-intensive educational and research environment is required.

  • Strong leadership skills in managing executive and professional programmes, with a proven track record of success.
  • Significant experience as subject matter expert in digital technologies, cross-disciplinary areas, etc.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring research staff and students, providing guidance and support.
  • Success in leading strategic collaborations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
