Job Title: Planning Officer to Manager

About the Role

The Strategic Planning team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of tourism in Singapore. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, risks, and formulating mid- to long-term strategies to drive tourism growth.

You will work closely with internal business units to develop short to mid-term work plans, review and track organisational performance, and align it with STB's strategic outcomes. Additionally, you will work with senior management to define STB's and the tourism industry's aspirations and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the workstream around STB's internal corporate priorities and targets, recommending relevant KPIs, targets, and tracking indicators based on STB's strategies and priorities.
  2. Work with line units to set up the Management Dashboard, a tracking and monitoring framework to ensure STB meets its T2040 targets.
  3. Be involved in longer-term planning to identify trends, blind spots, competition/threats, and new opportunities that could impact the future of Singapore tourism.

In addition, you will be part of the team managing key work plans, including organising annual corporate planning cycles, preparing quarterly updates, and working with MTI to manage key reporting platforms.

Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, connect the dots, and analyse data sets.
  • Background in statistics, data analytics, and economics is an added advantage.
  • Showing good business acumen, analytical thinking, and judgement.
