We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at SOON XING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and executing preventive maintenance tasks, installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems, and troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Install and perform diagnostic tests on mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Document processes and maintain mechanical service records to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Optimize mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Requirements
  • Nitec in Mechanical/Mechatronics or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Safety and vocational qualifications, including work at heights and confined space entry.
  • Able to perform rotating shifts and work a 6-day week.
