Precast segmental bridge construction requires a highly skilled professional to lead the team. ACRE WORKS SDN. BHD. (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks an experienced Bridge Construction Lead to manage the launching operation of segmental bridges using bridge construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Launching Engineers, Launching Superintendent, and Riggers to execute the SBG launching operation.
• Manage day-to-day operations of segment bridge construction, including plant and equipment organization.
• Report to authorities, clients, and Project Manager on operation matters and progress tracking.
• Plan sequence of precast segmental bridge construction in accordance with design sequence and coordination with supervision consultants.
• Develop lifting plans, kinematics, and engineering drawings in accordance with project specification and code of practice.
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering recognized by Singapore Engineering Practice.
• Minimum 10 years Civil Engineering experience with 5 years in viaduct construction, particularly in precast segmental bridge construction.
• Hands-on experience in managing precast segmental bridge construction using bridge equipment.
• Familiar with temporary works design for segmental bridge construction on sequence of erection.
• Able to coordinate with temporary works consultant on technical matters and supervision consultant site technical matters related to bridge construction.
