Our team is seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Architect to design and develop cutting-edge AI solutions.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and drive the growth of our Edge AI & Systems software team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and enhancing Neural Network solutions in the Video Processor roadmap, including current and older products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Neural Network Processor (NPU) architecture, programming model, simulation, verification, profiling, and optimization
  • Specification, review, and verification of other IP blocks
  • FPGA images and IO boards for pre-silicon verification and design exploration
  • Boot ROM, bare metal BSPs, sample applications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ANSI C bare-metal design, implementation, optimization, and debugging using GCC-like toolchains. Additionally, they should have a detailed understanding of processor architecture, including ARM/RISC-V ISA, symmetric multiprocessing, cache architecture, SIMD, Vector Processing, and custom instructions.

A good communicator and collaborator with excellent task estimation and reporting skills is required. Familiarity with Python for prototyping, demo, verification, and/or automation is also advantageous.

Requirements:
  • Ph.D./MSEE/BSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • At least 5 years of commercial embedded system architecture and development experience
