Educational Leader - Early Childhood Program

Job Description

The Educational Leader is a key member of the preschool leadership team, responsible for driving the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the center. As a seasoned educational professional, you will contribute to curriculum design and professional development by offering expert guidance, mentoring educators on pedagogy and teaching practices, and ensuring the effective use of learning tools and resources.

You will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing parent engagement, community outreach, and talent development. In addition, you will oversee resource management within the center, including staff scheduling, inventory oversight, and operational expense control.

This role involves implementing and coordinating center-based programs, initiatives, and events, as well as handling various administrative duties to support smooth center operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education;
  • A Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership (DPL) is advantageous but not mandatory;
  • 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity;
  • Sound knowledge of ECDA regulations and the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF);
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; and
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
