Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IFRS9 reporting and be proficient in SAS and VBA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and manage periodic reports on IFRS9, including analysis of expected credit loss.
  • Model Development: Enhance the IFRS9 model, conduct user acceptance testing, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaboration and Governance: Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure policy alignment and governance readiness for audits or inspections.
  • Process Improvement: Drive discussions with business, IT, and architecture teams to implement model changes and enhance reporting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk, Business Management, Data Management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in SAS and VBA for hands-on model development and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of key regulatory frameworks: IFRS9, BCBS239, MAS requirement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Team player with strong sense of ownership of outcomes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
