We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff-Solution Delivery Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical design-focused expertise and hands-on experience with development and architecture in Industrial solutions & Electrification Software in Utilities (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, CERMS/DERMS, Grid and Market Management Systems).
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical architecture for software implementation services bids and projects. They will ensure that the proposed solution is best in class and meets customer functional and non-functional requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role include leading technical teams in the implementation and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. The candidate will also work with Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager) to interact with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal solution design based on scope, customer requirements and solution capabilities.
The Senior Staff-Solution Delivery Architect will also be responsible for facilitating requirements, design and solutions workshops; owning design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents); ensuring traceability; creating and reviewing architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides; communicating design to customer and stakeholders; managing involvement of SMEs and ensuring contributions meet requirements.
In addition, the candidate will drive excellence by continuous improvement, collaborating with sales/presales to develop proposals and SoWs; coordinating knowledge sharing; building technical expertise; delivering technical consultancy; building standard policies and templates.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 10 years of deep technical design-focused expertise and hands-on experience with development and architecture in Industrial solutions & Electrification Software in Utilities (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, CERMS/DERMS, Grid and Market Management Systems).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science/Electrical) or similar.
- Familiarity with design principles, coding, scripting, OS (Linux), version control, virtualization, cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure), microservices.
- Experience with cloud technologies, containers, Kubernetes; strong cloud architecture understanding.
- Knowledge of architectural structures, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, multi-site deployments.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership of large projects; ability to lead technically and architect complex solutions.
- Awareness of presales activities, SoW creation, services estimation; ability to produce clear documentation.
- Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, capable of engaging with executives and stakeholders.
- Proactive, customer-facing with focus on meeting customer needs.
- Exposure to iterative product development and program management (Agile, SAFe, Scrum, DevOps).
