Senior IT Risk Manager Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Senior IT Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maturing our IT risk practices, managing technology incidents, and providing insights through data analytics to improve decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT risk management, technology governance, or IT operations, with a strong background in data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL. They will also have excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, less-structured environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the IT risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct IT risk assessments, identify control gaps, and follow up on remediation actions.
  • Assist in periodic risk reporting, KRIs/KPIs, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Contribute to audit and regulatory reviews by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Manage and coordinate IT incidents, ensuring timely escalation, communication, and resolution.
  • Act as the point of contact between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors during incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and track remediation actions to closure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-10 years' experience in IT risk management, technology governance, or IT operations (experience in financial services, trading, or related industries preferred).
  • Familiarity with IT risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
  • Proficient in data analytics/reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, less-structured environment, balancing both risk management and operational responsibilities.
