Job Title: Global Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role:

This exciting role offers a chance to work at the heart of our organization, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management. As a Global Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily incoming and outgoing shipments, monitoring inventory levels, and managing relationships with carriers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the receipt and issuance of goods, as well as booking container space directly with carriers.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure periodic inventory counts are conducted according to schedule and monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Work with warehouse teams to process orders, purchase materials, and plan shipments efficiently.
  • Cargo Insurance and Compliance: Handle cargo marine insurance for imports and exports, and ensure knowledge in Tradeweb for permit declarations and switch bills of lading.
  • Communication and Reporting: Monitor demurrage, storage, and detention charges, and follow up on arrival notices and bill of lading for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Possess a minimum GCE 'O' level qualification and preferably 2 years of working experience with Tradenet Declarant ID.
  • Skills: ERP system knowledge is preferred, particularly in multi-currency and inventory modules.
