The role requires the ability to manage complex information, think critically, and provide clear guidance to patients. Strong research skills are also essential for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in genetics and related fields.

In this position, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive genetic counselling services. You will be responsible for analysing genetic variants, coordinating testing processes, and providing clear counselling guidance to patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Genetic Counselling Services: Provide expert advice to patients on genetic-related issues, including pre- and post-counselling for hereditary cardiac conditions.
  • Analyse Genetic Variants: Evaluate genetic data to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating these risks.
  • Coordinate Testing Processes: Work with healthcare professionals to arrange and coordinate genetic testing, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Genetic Counselling: A master's degree in genetic counselling or a related field is required for this role.
  • Clinical Experience: At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office, databases, presentations, and pedigree drawing software is essential for this role.
