Backend Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, robust, and secure backend services and APIs.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • They will also have strong knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit and integration tests, particularly for backend services.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, is required. 4 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a high-growth or fintech environment, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure backend services and APIs using Golang.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle - from requirements analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through monitoring and optimization.
  • Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system quality and stability.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a high-growth or fintech environment.
  • Languages and Tools: Strong understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigms and software design patterns.
  • Automated Testing: Strong knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit and integration tests, particularly for backend services.
  • Containerization: Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
