Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
  • S/He will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing the tendering process, and ensuring timely completion of sourcing and contracting activities.
  • In addition, the Procurement Manager will provide professional advice and support to the project management team on sourcing strategies and contract management.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with the Project Management Team (PMT) to develop effective procurement strategies and approaches that support operational needs.
  2. Preparing quotation and tender documents, and managing the end-to-end quotation and tendering process using electronic procurement systems.
  3. Monitoring procurement activities to ensure timely completion of sourcing and contracting in line with agreed timelines.
  4. Providing professional advice and support to the PMT on sourcing strategies and contract management.
  5. Documenting lessons learned, including best practices and areas for improvement.
  6. Coordinating procurement audit activities when required.
  7. Contributing to other ad-hoc initiatives and projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant working experience in ICT industry and/or procurement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Good analytical, organization, and planning skills.
  • A team player who is able to work independently.
