Derivatives F&O Index Sales Specialist

Job Description

The MSCI Derivatives team is responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Listed, Over-the-Counter, and Structured Product derivatives linked to MSCI indexes.

The team focuses on connecting with clients across the trading ecosystem, including buy-side, sell-side, market makers, and Asset Owners.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior management, Coverage, Index Product, ESG Product, Analytics Product, Marketing, Research, Legal, and Technology to drive adoption of index-based derivatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with Sell-Side, Market Makers, Asset Managers and Asset Owners in APAC to drive adoption volumes, new products, and revenues.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel across the liquidity and trading ecosystem.
  3. Share market color obtained through relationships and market observations with Product, Coverage, and Research to identify trends and new product opportunities.
  4. Pitch new ideas for investment opportunities and prepare quarterly results for senior management.
  5. Collaborate with the APAC Index coverage team to coordinate efforts and initiatives with clients.
Requirements

A minimum 6 years' client-facing experience within sales and trading industry is required. Direct experience in futures, options, ETFs, derivatives, and/or Delta One is a plus.

A fundamental understanding of the equity and fixed income index product ecosystem and key players is essential.

Strong team player, collaborative and creative with a solid understanding of various client segments including asset owners, asset managers and wealth managers.
