Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scheduling, coordination, and monitoring, and report updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance to scope of work, codes, and practices.
  • Execute projects on time and within budget, identifying potential issues or risks.
  • Coordinate with Operations & Maintenance, technical resources, and contractors for project execution.
  • Review feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
  • Perform technical reviews on design concepts, engineering, and operational matters.
  • Assist in developing project budgets, schedules, and control measures.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply; 5-10 years' experience in Solar PV system design/engineering considered for senior positions.
  • High level of integrity, able to generate trust and build alliances with coworkers.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and foresee and resolve issues.
  • Thorough understanding of SS638 and working knowledge of common construction materials and methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autocad, and construction software.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proactive, positive, and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Not afraid of heights, medically fit, and able to climb vertical ladders.
  • Safety certifications such as Managing Work at Height, Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course preferred.
