Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our occupational therapy team as a Therapy Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.
">Key Responsibilities:- Assist occupational therapists in conducting individual or group therapy sessions
- Set up therapy equipment and materials
- Manage inventory and supply levels
- Perform general administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- GCE 'O' / 'N' Level or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support)
- Certificate in Therapy Services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., basic MS Word, Excel)
- Ability to handle physically demanding work, including transferring patients and maintenance/cleaning of rehabilitative equipment
- Proficient in a local language and/or dialect to liaise with patients
- Experience in using an electric sewing machine would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Working Conditions:
This is an entry-level position, and you will work full-time in a hospital setting. You will be required to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
