The school nurse will play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of students, staff, and visitors. As an integral member of our community, you will be responsible for providing medical care, promoting health awareness, and ensuring that our school environment is safe and healthy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide emergency medical care to students, staff, and visitors.
2. Maintain accurate records of student health status and administer medication as needed.
3. Identify and coordinate healthcare needs for students with additional health requirements.
4. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members on medical matters.
5. Develop and implement individual healthcare plans for students with complex needs.
6. Be the first point of contact for children, parents, or carers seeking health advice or information.
7. Collaborate with International School Nurses to share best practices and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nursing or a related field.
2. Be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
3. Have previous experience in an international school setting, preferably.
4. Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
5. Be confident in the use of IT and familiar with its application in administrative environments.
6. Show interest in continuing education and professional growth.
