Sonographer Specialist

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our Parkway Radiology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality sonography services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations and according to acceptable standards.
• Familiarize yourself with the usage and correct handling of imaging equipment to ensure accurate and safe usage.
• Conduct necessary quality assurance tests before equipment is used on patients to maintain optimal performance.
• Participate in quality improvement projects to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of work.
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met and exceeded.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with the radiology safety policy and maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with the Picture Archiving and Communications systems (PACS) administrator to ensure studies are sent and stored correctly without errors.
• Perform other assignments as required to support the team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognized qualifications in Sonography or Radiography related studies.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
