Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HYPERSCAL SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. As a key member of our critical systems maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to work on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including monitoring, scheduling, and reporting. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities will enable you to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all monitoring systems are in good operating condition and investigate any errors or alarms generated by BMS.
* Schedule facilities and building management services to facilitate events and meet arising requirements.
* Compile daily reports, feedback, and building management facilities faults and activities.
* Operate plant equipment at optimal efficiency and report any abnormalities for corrective actions.
* Validate facilities & Building Management maintenance work carried out by contractors and ensure compliance to prescribed standards.
* Perform routine building management facilities activities, including inventory control, critical systems checks, and functional testing.
* Respond to BMS alerts, investigate, and provide feedback on outstanding issues or events, and respond to emergency situations as required.
* Provide technical support for M&E operations, including operation, maintenance, and repair of mission-critical equipment and systems supporting 24x7 activities.
* Assist with site construction activities and installations, coordinating with external contractors to ensure system design, installation, and testing adhere to operational standards.
* Maintain compliance with local workplace safety & health standards and local electrical and building codes.

Requirements

* Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years' practical experience in managing and implementing electrical & mechanical systems for critical building management facilities for telecom, broadcast, or data centre buildings.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Hands-on troubleshooting and ability to stay contactable 24/7.
* Willingness to perform rotation shift duties.
