Job Title: Manufacturing Operations IT Project Lead

 

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of various shopfloor and New Product Introduction IT projects to ensure seamless integration into production environments.
  • Collaborate with internal business users to gather and evaluate requirements, converting both customer and internal business needs into clear IT functional specifications.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to define project dependencies, create test cases, identify logic errors, and perform root cause analysis for system issues.
  • Partner with the Infrastructure and Security teams to manage the setup and implementation of network, server, and IoT devices in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to monitor and track the progress of system enhancements and changes related to manufacturing systems.
  • Work with the support team to identify and address system or functional gaps, focusing on areas of improvement to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet required operational standards.
Requirements:
  • Up to 3 years of experience in gathering user requirements, conducting analysis, drafting functional specifications, and implementing IT systems, preferably in manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS, with working knowledge of development frameworks such as Java or .NET. Familiarity with each stage of the SDLC is good to have.
  • Previous experience in the IT domain within the manufacturing or semiconductor industry, with a strong understanding of production environments and systems integration.
