Service Technician Job Description

The Service Technician role involves servicing and maintaining automatic door components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Perform scheduled servicing of automatic door components, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with automatic entrance systems and recommend suitable repairs or replacements.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and prepare comprehensive site reports for clients.
  • Cary out testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of automatic entrance systems and related products.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nitec or higher qualification in engineering with 1-3 years of experience in repairing automatic door components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with peers, engineers, and supervisors.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
