Job Summary

GRADIANT INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading piping design and pipe support design efforts, interpreting and developing pipe routing from PFD & P&ID, plant layout, and piping material specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform piping design and pipe support design, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
  • Interpret and develop pipe routing from PFD & P&ID, plant layout, and piping material specification, applying ASME and ANSI codes.
  • Perform Material Take Off (MTO) from piping drawings and generate ISO drawings.
  • Assist modeler in piping and equipment 3D modeling, adhering to project specifications and best engineering practices.
  • Perform pipe stress analysis and surge analysis, as required.
  • Review and check piping/mechanical documents and drawings from vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare technical datasheets and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines within the department.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Lead and interface with inter-disciplines for all technical matters.
  • Pre-procurement preparation, including evaluation of technical and commercial bids from vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide engineering support in tendering new projects, including preliminary design, material, and cost estimates.
  • Offer technical support to project teams for ongoing projects and resolve technical issues on site.
Requirements
  • Understanding and development of various piping and fitting specifications.
  • Proficiency in Model Review Software (Navisworks).
  • Familiarity with BIM Revit modeling is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with PP, PVC, CPVP, and FRP piping and fittings is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Face piping Skid, and equipment skid piping (such as RO, UF, CEDI, UV) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret ISO/GA/P&ID drawings.
