Job Title: Sushi Chef

At RYU TARO YAKITORI PTE. LTD., we are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes that meet our culinary standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Omakase Menu with precision and attention to detail.

• Expertly cut, slice, and fillet various types of fish to create visually appealing sushi dishes.

• Develop a rich sushi menu featuring a variety of main ingredients and raw fish, such as salmon, tuna, and unagi.

• Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri, and sashimi, to meet customer expectations.

• Inspect the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used in sushi preparation and inform the Executive Chef of any sub-standard quality.

• Prepare appetizers, soups, and salads that align with Japanese cuisine principles.

• Maintain a clean work environment to prevent food contamination and ensure food safety.

• Regularly take inventory of food supplies and other products to ensure efficient operations.

• Communicate effectively with wait staff to ensure special requests and food allergy considerations are met.


Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in the related field is required for this position.
